Diaper Tutorial

Jenn from Utah Share contacted me two days ago, wanting to make a picture and video tutorial for the diapers to go along with the written instructions. Yes, yes, yes!

And guess what?

She has already finished it.

You can find step-by-step instructions for preemie diapers by clicking here.

A detailed video tutorial is here.

Be sure to check out their other preemie patterns and tutorials while you are there!

Thank you, Jenn, Carrie, and all the good folks at Utah Share!

The tutorial is AWESOME!!! And I love the link to the little kimono gowns that she has linked at the top of the page too. So easy to make!

I don't know about little teddy bears, but when Jay was at the hospital we were given a little doll. It's basically flannel wrapped around a little ball of stuffing and then tied off (kind of like a ghost). anyway, I have seen them called Ookies and Snoedels. In our NICU it was used for the preemies to have mom's scent (they'd bring it to me for a few hours and then put it back with him), but could work for lots of purposes.

ooh, or, they would take a little more time, but you could do sock monkeys out of baby socks (they would end up the same height as one sock)

You're welcome Megan! The biggest thanks goes to you for allowing me to use your pattern!

Anna....not sure if you'll even see this, but I used to read your blog when your little boy was born so prematurely and I know I've seen your adoption button on someone's blog, but I can't for the life of me remember whose. I'm going to go crazy trying to figure out who our mutual friend is!
