From Flannel Queen to Butterflies

We received a generous donation of darling flannel fabrics from the Flannel Queen!!
Vanessa whipped these soft and gorgeous prints into 100 diapers for On the Wings of a Butterfly, an organization that donates memory boxes, hats, blankets, bereavement clothing, and crocheted butterflies and dragonflies to grieving parents of losses at any stage of pregnancy. Angel mama Holly started this organization in memory of her sons Jonathan Levi and Asher Brennan.  These diapers have been made in their memory and will be given to grieving families in the greater Akron, Ohio area.  You can read Jonathan's story here and Asher's story here.  Don't forget to "like" them on Facebook!
We were able to make large angel boy diapers...
And teeny little angel boy diapers...
Large angel girlie diapers...
And itty bitty angel princess diapers...
Donated in memory of Jonathan and Asher:
The Flannel Queen has an amazing selection of prints, including baby flannel, stripes, polka dots, and ginghams, florals, retro/vintage, and about a bazillion more.  So pretty!

THANK YOU, Flannel Queen, for so generously providing the flannel to that will touch the lives of 50 families in Ohio during a very tender and difficult time of their lives.
