For Love of Tessa

"A Mother’s Love cannot be measured
by increments of time …an entire lifetime
of love can be squeezed into a few brief
miraculous moments when necessary…."

Angel baby Tessa Mosher-Curry made her brief earthly visit on March 18, 2005, arriving into the world far too early and without explanation, at 15 weeks and 2 days.  She is the much beloved first child of Debra and Shaun Curry, and the first grandchild in the family.  In December of that year, the Curry family was joined by little brother Aiden, via emergency c-section at 30 weeks.

Every year for Tessa's birthday, the Curry family makes pink cupcakes and takes them to her grave or to the Angel of Hope.  Debra participates in things like Angel of Hope, Teeny Tears, and Walk to Remember to create new 'memories'/paperwork/photos to go into Tessa's keepsake collection.   Debra says, "She can't make them herself, so I guess it's up to me!"
Debra contacted Teeny Tears with a desire to donate diapers she had made to a local hospital.  We made a few phone calls and connected with St. John's Hospital of Springfield, Illinois.  As a side note, did you know that St. John's Hospital is the birthplace of SHARE?  The modern approach to stillbirth and neonatal bereavement has been heavily influenced by SHARE.  It is such an honor to come full circle with a donation of diapers to St. John's.
Debra made 84 diapers for the angel families of St. John's Hospital and has donated them in memory of Tessa  Mosher-Curry.
"I hope the diapers give some other family that One More Memory to put in their memory boxes.  Something to touch and remember".
Thank you, Curry Family!
