Diapers by Barbi

Volunteer seamstress Barbi has made 84 beautiful diapers for angel families in Arizona.

"A few months ago my cousin's daughter gave birth to a stillborn and I made a bereavement gown for her precious angel baby, Benjamin. A few days later, I came came across Teeny Tears and saw how a tiny little diaper could bring some comfort to angel families.

Twenty-nine years ago I had a miscarriage. I had an ultrasound done on a Friday morning then a call from the doctors office that evening. The call was to tell me I had miscarried and I would need to go in on Monday for a D&C. The only thing I remember is that everything was handled in such a cold manner and I just tried to be strong. My participation with the TT project has helped heal my heart from my loss. Every diaper is stitched with love and a prayer that the families receiving them will find some comfort in knowing that their precious angel baby is wrapped in warm love." ~Barbi Lopez

For Love of Uncle David

The Wilson Family of New Jersey made a donation of 138 diapers in memory of their Uncle David William Corbett, who passed away at the age of 69 from cancer.  David's beloved wife Mary Ann joined in the project as well.

"Everyone who knew David Corbett loved him greatly. And those who knew him only in passing, as an acquaintance, or a colleague, or a friend of a friend, felt fortunate to be touched by his optimism and humor, his shining spirit and the spirited way he led his life."

For Love of Karter Part #2

"This is the second annual donation in honor of our TTTS angel Karter Maverick Dunn. The diapers were lovingly made by my Aunt Tami and her family as well as by a dear friend of mine's Aunt Mary.

My husband and I vowed to not let Karter’s passing be for nothing. I speak regularly to my now 15-month old Kolton about his guardian angel brother and will continue to tell him how much of a bond they share. We will always be a mommy and daddy of twin boys and I was so blessed to have gotten to feel his little life inside me!  We are so excited to be a part of such an amazing blessing that the Teeny Tears organization is to other families like ourselves!" ~Danielle, mother to TTTS survivor Kolton and angel baby Karter

Heather Glen Relief Society and Utah SHARE of Davis County

Christine Damitz is the angel other behind Angel Outfitters (a division of Teeny Tears the specializes in providing itty bitty buntings for babies lost between 14-19 weeks gestation.)  She serves in memory of her daughter Lily Dawn Damitz, who was born still September 4, 2009 (5 years ago today).  Through the Angel Outfitters project Christine honors her memory and those of countless other angel friends.

"The Heather Glen Ward Relief Society sisters of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints contacted Angel Outfitters with a desire to do a service project to create bereavement clothing for angel babies and their families.

This was a very special night for me personally, as this is the congregation we were attending when we lost our daughter in 2009. The love and support we received while going through this difficult time was overwhelming, and I don't know what we would have done without them! Their desire for continuing service has truly touched my heart.

We met in early November, and these incredible ladies went to work!! They made buntings, Teeny Tears bereavement diapers, No-Sew Hats, and tiny lace headbands for angels. Their enthusiasm and energy was incredible. "  ~Christine

The results of their efforts over the next three weeks were amazing. Over 300 buntings, over 350 hats, over 500 headbands of various sizes, knit items...

and of course 168 Teeny Tears diapers!
When all is said and done, they have donated more than 1,500 individual items! All these beautifully made outfits have been made in loving memory of the angels born to families in their ward congregation.

The diapers in this collection were donated to Utah SHARE of Davis County in memory of:

Brandon Petersen
Megan Petersen
Tyleigh Marie Buchanan
Tucker Willets
Andrew Mitchell Kirkham

Thank you, Heather Glen Relief Society Sisters, and thank you, Angel Outfitters!
